For shame that I don’t have a Krispy Kreme in my home town.
I was looking so forward to the vaccination.

Nearest to me is 30+ miles away in Jacksonville. Not worth the drive for 1 donut. However if I get the urge for Indian cuisine in JAX, Krispy Kreme stop is possible.

Back in the day after working as a deckhand on the dinner cruise boats and bouncing at various places at the docks. My drive took me past a Krispy Kreme donut shop on route 1, usually late at night. It was iconic. Near the piggly wiggly and down a bit past the hojos.
If the cops weren’t there, which most nights they were, I’d roll in and grab a dozen freshly baked and amazingly good. They have changed over the years. Nothing like they once were.
