That’s wasn’t there fault of USAA, it was banking regulations of the Patriot Act.

No it was the fault of USAA:

1. We had power of attorney on his account, USAA insisted that it had expired 30 days after he died and we had to get a new one.

2. We offered the will with executor instead of the POA it took 2 months for USAA to accept it.

3. USAA denied for 2 month that there was a “Subscriber Account” associated with my Dad, a retired LTC, finally after me insisting to keep talking to managers they acknowledged it existed, with over $5K in it.

It was very difficult to deal with them, not the USAA that I joined in the 70s.
