We are a bunch of suckers.
But....but.....the ‘science’ of these experimental jabs...and, all.
[[In all three cases, the patients did not become severely ill β and it does not appear they transmitted the virus to anyone else,]]
the vaccines don’t prevent a person getting the virus- they prevent them needing hospitalization, supposedly 100% prevention- but we’ll see
I thought the vaccinations didn’t prevent getting the virus, just dying from it.
It’s early yet, and we don’t have a lot of information. This is an interesting “anecdote” however. There are some data out there that suggest the mRNA vaccines lose efficacy over time much more rapidly than one thinks of when thinking about vaccination. E.g. maybe as little as 5-6 weeks. But not a lot of information about that and it could prove to be faulty data. Also, they have been trying to find a use for mRNA technology for many many years, never once finding it worked well for anything. These are approved under “Emergency Use”, e.g. not “approved by the FDA” but merely allowed because the perceived benefits outweigh the perceived risks. Only time will bear the truth out in that logic.
You can still get flu or many other diseases even if vaccinated. Depending on your DNA and immune health.
Vaccine reduces chances of contracting it and also reduces community spread so it protects individuals that are not immune. Very few diseases have been 100% eradicated but vaccines helped bring down rates to nearly zero
Moderna and Pfizer claim 95% effectiveness, not 100% - some 5% of the people who get vaccinated will still get coronavirus. The annual flu vaccine is about 65% effective, by comparison.
I’m on one of the outer islands, over 65 and I haven’t yet been vaccinated. I don’t have any underlying problems so I will skip on the vaccinations till all the far sicker people get them first.
Plus I don’t believe ANYTHING the Hawaii governments advocate, they are all run by Democrats and they all lie.
The Feds are even less trustworthy.
I personally think the best thing to do is limit strangers from coming to my island, unless they are completely tested and quarantined.
Don’t come to Hawaii.
Aloha.
And don't they know which vaccine the individuals were given?
Just fodder for the anti-Vaxers.
Did I miss something? Did someone say the vaccine was 100% effective?
Gotta keep the fear at a fever pitch ... at least until the tyranny is fully in place.
No vaccine has 100% effectiveness. Some people have poor immune memory due to health issues, extreme age or genetics.
Even if you have natural immunity from having had a disease it can wane over time as you age. Like chickenpox reactivating as shingles or polio survivors developing post-polio syndrome later in life.
One of the reasons measles is such a bad virus is that it wipes your immune memory clean making you vulnerable to secondary infections of all kinds.
So question-
If the vaccines do not provide individual immunity from the virus, how is the population supposed to achieve so called “herd immunity”?
Full disclosure, herd immunity does NOT provide any immunity. What is called herd immunity is merely a lack of exposure.
The proper question is ARE THEY SICK? If they’re positive but not ill, then the vaccine may be helping. If they’re sick, it’s not.
This is likely BS and put out there so the left has something to tell Rand Paul about.
There are approximately 3-5 per 100 that are susceptible after vaccination.
There is no surprise here.
Out of a million vaccinated, there will be 30-50 thousand susceptible, but little virus circulating.
As far as vaccination goes, that’s very, very good. And far better than any flu vaccine.
Three people in Hawaii who were fully vaccinated have tested positive for COVID-19.
In other news, Pfizer just finished clinical trials for a vaccine against stupidity and has applied for emergency use approval...if you are already stupid...you are SOL and it won’t stop you from becoming stupid...you may become stupid if you are exposed to stupid people but you are unlikely to die from it if you refrain from doing stupid things.
This weird article about a non-issue could be a strawman.
It falsely makes it appear that vaccine skeptics are taking issue with the vaccine being less than 100% effective.
It discredits vaccine skeptics over a position they did not, in fact, take.
Never ending crap! Scare everyone. No all are alike esp. when it comes to medicine reactions.
