Just out of curiosity, as some on here might know a bit more about it than I do, but is it common for the President and VP to travel together like Harris and CornPop just did?

What happened in Atlanta and Cherokee County is tragic, but what is the national emergency to have these two together on the same plane for that?

Protocol often stipulates that the President and VP don't travel together for reasons of safety and security.

There is a special plane for the VP.

It's not customary for any of the major cabinet positions to fly on Air Force One with the President. Too risky.
