- Twitter said Friday it mistakenly suspended the account of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., who is facing a push from dozens of House Democrats to expel her from Congress.
- The social media giant, which had previously suspended the conspiracy-embracing lawmaker’s account, said that the most recent lockout had been lifted.
- Rep. Jimmy Gomez, D-Calif., on Friday morning introduced a resolution to do just that, calling Greene a “direct threat” to elected officials.
- Greene has previously promoted the baseless pro-Trump QAnon conspiracy and supported calls for violence against Democrats.

Given how many voted to keep Liz Cheney, it’s possible. But it would also be a mistake and waste of time. If she is expelled, she’ll merely run again in the special election and be reelected to her seat in a landslide. It will also make her even stronger and more popular than she is now with the national base.
