Trying to sell vaccination for a “disease” which targets people with multiple co-morbidities is part of a fear campaign.
You joined FR just as the vaccination campaign was ramping up, and you promote cv19 fear. You’re with the domestic enemy, period.
We also have Israel as a leading example. They have already vaccinated more than half their population. Infection rates have fallen nearly 80% even as quarantines have been lifted and business are have returned to normal. With continuing vaccinations the USA should approach herd immunity within a couple of month.

Agree. I’ve been following Israel for the past month (at least) and it wasn’t until they got to about 50% vaccinated before they really had their final downturn in case numbers. In fact, they went up, big time, at the beginning (through 40% coverage), possibly because of both inertia and people thinking that it was ok to go back to normal.
So yep, another surge will be mitigated and then the virus will likely be just a really bad memory.
The double-masked talking heads on this disagree. They are now saying this could very well turn into yearly boosters because of mutations and various strains. They are throwing out the case that this may never end.
Remember these are the same folks who said that what was needed to knock it out (flatten the curve) was 15 days of wearing the mask.
I think there will be another wave if not two but it/they will be smaller. It will be interesting to see what happens as the weather warms up and people start going out more.
