@RandPaul

Congrats to KY legislators for passing HB 574 today & making KY a leader on protecting the integrity of our elections & a model for the rest of the country! The bill passed both KY House & Senate with bipartisan support. A special thanks to Rep. Jennifer Decker & @damon_thayer !

Looks like Rand won't have to worry about a steal in 2022 so should be safe!

Just did a quick search and here are more details about the bill:

- Allow counties to continue operating voting centers where anyone in the county could vote in-person early and on Election Day, as well as maintain drop boxes where voters can submit absentee ballots.

- Keep the process adopted last year in which voters can cure absentee ballots of deficiencies, such as one missing a signature.

- Include new vote integrity measures to prohibit ballot harvesting, in which people collect others' completed absentee ballots and turn them in.

- Require counties to purchase voting machines allowing for paper ballots or a verified paper trail when replacing old equipment.

- Improve the ability of state elections officials to purge individuals from the voting rolls when informed they are voting in another state.

Did the bill prohibit the use of Dominion machines? If not, anything is possible.

Not sure but I think they have made their election secure..

At least that’s what it seems.

Thanks for the details that were in the KY bill.

I have not followed existing election laws in KY. Are the current laws pretty strict and these changes fixed some loose ends?

Yes... the impression I got was them doing some updates due to COVID...

Search for the bill: HB 574 Kentucky and you can read up on it.

1 down 49 to go so far. Rand has been all over this. I heard he’s been touring state by state.

He said he was going to do that, yes. I’m not sure he got round to it yet

Too little too late.
He will lose his seat as payback for letting the 2020 steal against Trump stand.

Not so popular that the fraud (which this bill will not stop) and the angered Trump supporters won’t make him lose.
