However, the explorer has received some criticism in the French press because he assumes the title of 'researcher' while having no formal scientific training.
The 'Deep Time' experiment began at 20:00 local time on Sunday, March 14 — and, if all goes to plan, will be concluding on April 22.

They will get sick.
Real isolation studies are not new. This is a 15 person cluster, not isolation at all. Poorly conceived. Results will be more relevant to crowding than isolation. Either way I don’t see it ending very well.

I’ve done the 100+ day submarine thing several times. A clock is right twice a day, ergo the military time with 0200/1400 stuff. If you stay down and don’t surface, mid-rats let you know it’s midnite. You get used to it. Field days and poker games and Russians to hunt keep you going. Along with books.
