I did a road trip with my friend that agrees with me on all this mask nonsense. We went from eastern Idaho to Seattle and back. However, there was a stark difference on that trip.
He never left the car without a mask on, and I never wore a mask. We actually got into an argument in a Pilot parking lot because he was dinging me for not wearing a mask. I finally had to yell, JOE (not his real name), masks are political only! I’m a patriot fighting this by refusing to comply to the nanny state! It’s the only way we win this!
It has permanently affected our friendship (since 1972).
People don’t really grasp that, right now, we are living in a post holocaust world, and it’s about to get a LOT worse. The final straw was election of utter incompetence at the helm of the most powerful country on the planet. We’re in for very bad times, and probably all out war.
To be fair, the political right is just as much at fault as the left. They only differ on what they focus on, but both are big government and about control at this point.
Few actually believe in “limited government.”
