Was it due to people moving in from other states?
Election fraud?
Or is it due to increasingly liberal public education in these states, churning out a never ending conga-line of young leftist voters each year for the past several decades?
It is due to the departure of liberal Republicans to the Democratic Party, who have not been replaced by conservative Democrats, because the only thing conservative Democrats hate worse than communists is the GOP in its present form.
It’s very simple. Make a nationalist party that puts American citizens, American jobs, American resources and a stable dollar first, or watch the communist revolution succeed.
The GOP as presently constituted will never win another national election.
1950’s, a PhD from Columbia (NYC) showed up, and intimidated the school board and PTA, with new (communist) notions.
She argued that the town should raise taxes - and force farmers away, in order to gain land for schools. And the town did so.
She envisioned, and they built on that land, a “middle school” WITH NO WINDOWS - ‘because’ she said, ‘the kids would be distracted by windows.’
There were no wall inside the school - only flexible sliding partitions. Thus, it was loud, it was a mess, and the kids were distracted by all the noises coming from the other partitions.
Her son ended up in prison.
Her husband . . . I do not think that anybody ever saw him.
I remember the “open spaces classroom“ era. It was a disaster.
Most people did not understand what abortion meant.

Yep, urban liberal/RINOs from Calif have infested several previously normal western states. OR, WA, CO, NV, and NV.
Liberal colleges have had a big effect.

Note that those urban Calif types did not move to rural areas of new states, but to the urban areas, exacerbating the city control of the rest of those states.

I do find it puzzling how rich blue state dems have successfully convinced poor red staters to go to bat for them, regarding keeping their taxes low. In exchange the dems agree to send pork dollars back to red states.

Effects of globalisation and other factors
45% of the country is doing well the other 55% are going paycheck to paycheck and they are voting in socialization as a result.
I see it in the comnpanies I work with over the last 30 years and getting worse. Owners, managers, key employees doing great, rest of the rank and file are struggling.
Owners and ceo’s of companies increasingly look upon their employees as expenedable.
It’s Demographics.
If I can find the link, if the Demographics were the same as during Reagan years the Republicans would have 300+ House Seats and about 70 Senate seats.
Mitt Romeny in 2012 and Trump 2016 would have each won 40+ States.
The only Blue states would be Oregon, Massachusetts and Vermont. Every other state would be solid Red or a Swing state.
Single women
The media and their tie in with the Left/Dims and their combined ability to control the political narrative as received by the majority of the sheeple every night on their TVs, and beyond the news to “entertainment” shows as well.
Just like any Marxist dominant situation, if you can control the narrative you can nearly always control the political outcomes, though their are exceptions.
I’m not discounting anything said already but here’s another angle.
Normally 130 mil. vote - 155 mil voted 2020 (supposedly).
How many vote based on party affiliation? Most. Very few have a clue who or what they are voting for. They don’t follow politics at all. Most democrats that really did vote were voting against Trump. Some rep voters did as well. Yes there was cheating. And the cheating started 2016 with the media/swamp/democrats.
Floride in the water coupled with the education system sucked all of the bodily fluids out of the American male.
That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
