Sounds like having the chicom flu might be the best thing around!! ChiCom Flu Parties?

“I think this interview with Vanden Bossche should blow the doors off the rush to administer experimental gene therapies not yet sufficiently tested or approved by the FDA.”
I think you’re out of your mind if you think the public will give up worship of the vaccine as the great savior. People are absolutely giddy at getting vaccinated.
PING
My Democratic neighbors and their daughters have been vaccinated(two shots each).
My former neighbor got her shot recently in MA.
They reported no problems.
I signed up the first day I could. I expect to have to wait a month since I’m 62.
Something like 50 million people have gotten jabbed with mRNA vaccines with at most modest side effects, if any.
You being a Browns fan ought to know about lost causes
Just look on FR.
Well, the best they can say is they had no immediate adverse reaction...
“You being a Browns fan ought to know about lost causes”
Wow, oh wow, who ever saw that coming?! It’s so creative, so original, so over the top. Do you realize I’ve only had like, 1200 replies along those lines. I mean, that’s hardly any at all.
But, since you credit me with the ability to know lost causes, there’s something meant to say about you...
“with at most modest side effects, if any”
In the short term. We have no idea what the long term side effects might be.
1200 huh?
Being a Dolphins fan that hasn’t had a team worth a thimble of spit since Marino’s third season I can see you being a might touchy on said subject.

You’re parroting all the propaganda of the anti-vaxxer cult, experimental, insufficiently tested, no FDA approval. These vaccines are not experimental gene therapy because they do not modify your genetics. They have been rigorously tested and proved safe and effective. And, they have been approved by the FDA.
Now, Bossche, in the article you posted makes little if any sense. His arguments comes down to these:
- We shouldn’t administer these vaccines because they will result in new virus variants that are even more infectious and dangers. If we followed this advice we would have foregone the most successful vaccines in the past. We would still be suffering from smallpox, polio, etc,.
- Bossche is also arguing that we should get the infection rates down greatly before we give people these vaccines, vaccines that would reduce the infection rates.
These arguments make no sense except in the conspiracy world of the anti-vaxxer cults.
Short term.
What is the long term prognosis?
Nobody knows nor can know simply because there hasn’t been enough time that has elapsed to find out.
I have seen this and it is absolutely staggering to me. It is my understanding that, like the annual flu shot, the COVID vaccine does not prevent Covid, it mearly reduces the severity of symptoms. Yet people are treating this like they are going to be innoculated against COVID, which is not true. Mind boggling.
Exactly.
Thanks for the ping.
