Then how does a country recover ?
How do you make up for lost time ? ..productivity ?.. personal awareness and growth ?
..or do you succumb to the tyranny of the State and depend on the State to provide all your sustenance, food, housing,.. or are you just another slave on the State plantation ?

I am of the opinion that once socialism takes hold, there are only two options-

Live as a slave to the state where freedom of speech / thought / religion / movement / commerce are oppressed

or

Fight the state in a violent civil war that ultimately destroys the society, forcing the citizens to first be self sufficient and then gradually rebuild through trade and then a new society forms.

WIthout honest clean elections, there is not a ray of hope. None whatsoever, other than the military doing a coup against the commiepukers in DC which would result in terrible bloodshed.

That is, if President Trump does not come back fairly soon to his rightful position as the winner of the election. Which I am sure will happen.
