I agree that the apology is likely going to be fruitless. It’s easy to criticize from the comfort of an anonymous political chat forum the actions of someone trying to save the career they use to feed their family.

If you work in the entertainment business, it’s simply not possible to remain gainfully employed and at the same time, espouse ANY opinions that don’t fully comport with the established progressive orthodoxy. I suspect Harrison knew he was one at the Bachelor but was thinking about his ability to get his next gig. Without that self-flagellating apology, that next gig would have been an impossibility.

The Red Scare blacklist of the middle part of last century PALES in comparison to what is going on today.

As I was saying....

Disney Shelves Upcoming Episode of Running Wild With Bear Grylls Featuring Gina Carano

Carano is now persona non grata. Unless she reverses course like Harrison and throws herself at the mercy of the mob, she's likely to never work again in Hollywood. Moving forward, the only people in entertainment who will stand up to the mob are those who are fantastically rich and/or and just don't give AF. But, people who want ot - need to - keep working, aren't going to say a thing, which of course is the intent of Disney et al.
