I agree with that approach - let each person make up their own mind based on their personal beliefs and health situation. I wouldn’t go into a store long before 2020 if I was coughing or sneezing out a storm of germs. That’s just common courtesy.

I know 2 people who’ve said they’ll wear a mask in stores now until they die, without regard to whatever law might be in place. We’re both asking for the information and freedom to make decisions about our own health.

Exactly! I’m all for each person making their own decision. I don’t need the government making it for me. I was wearing one long before COVID but only during flu season if my doctor said there were types out there that were not covered by the vax. Even I think it’s not necessary for a young healthy person to be required to wear one. I get around people I know and don’t wear one. I can’t trust strangers to not get out in public if they are sick, and they do. I would much rather have all the information I need to make MY decision about where I will go and who I will be around. I agree 100% that the masks aren’t perfect. I figure they give me a small chance if I’m in direct contact with somebody sick though even if it’s just long enough to get out of their space and change masks. LOL

I’m sure I have been exposed. That’s not a bad thing. Slight exposure can help you build immunity without giving you a big enough virus load to make you deathly sick. I think I had it last March and I don’t want it again. I still don’t feel right a year later.
