As someone else alluded to in a previous comment, this vaccine had other issues earlier in its development. The US decided to focus on other options and thus far, those options have turned out to be solid choices.
The same 5 countries in EU that banned AstraZeneca vaccine banned Moderna vaccine as well.
Not sure it is such a solid choice...(Oh and I am a solid Trump supporter since 2015.)
I suggest you do more research before you tout Pfizer or Moderna vaccines as compared with any other.
