People are having their Twitter accounts automatically suspended for tweeting the word 'Memphis'.
Dozens of users have reported having their posts almost immediately removed and their accounts blocked for sharing the word.
And it appears that those who have dared to tweet the name have received a message informing them they have been locked out for 12 hours.
Where Memphis' name had been, it now reads: "This tweet violated the Twitter rules."
It's not quite clear why it is going on, and Twitter are yet to comment on the bizarre happening.

Well, of course they are...because “Memphis” spelled backwards is “Sihpmem”.
And that’s racist.
;^)
It’s a cultural appropriation offensive to Egyptians of the Early Dynastic Period.
I suspended Twitter permanently by never using it.
Somehow, I endure.

What about “Memphis in the Meantime” by John Hiatt?
I think one of Trump’s biggest fails was making Tweater famous and then not being able to use it.
He should have built a competitor before starting his run for POTUS.

I keep thinking ‘bout that night in Memphis
Lord, I thought I was in Heaven
I keep thinking ‘bout that night in Memphis
I thought I was in Heaven
But I was stumbling through the parking lot
Of an invisible 7-11.
Some Tommy Sotomayor BT900 had six warrants for her arrest. The cop tried to arrest her and she ran screaming to her can where she jumped inside. As she and the cop fought, he tazed her, but she was able to grab her pistol. She shot it out with the cop and hit him once in the gut just bellow his vest (survived, in hospital). She was hit a few times in the exchange and somehow a round or two that could penetrate two feet of blubber compressed by spandex managed to get into the vitals.
She hit the gas on her Camaro and made it another block before wiping out because she was dead. Local cops released a body cam.
So the local ethnic people started rioting. Last year Twitter woulda bumped #memphis to the number one trending topic. But now they have a communist junta in office in DC and do not need to start a new riot at the moment.
(most likely they are saving the next wave or riots for the Chauvin trial)
Cool story Bro
Maybe it was Memphis. Maybe it was southern summer nights? Maybe it was you, maybe it was me, but it sure felt right
Obviously it has offended someone. That makes as much sense as canceling Dr. Suess. I don’t try to figure this stuff out anymore. The left is hysterical and incoherent. It’s who they are.
Twitter is the new Twitler.
I suspended Twitter a couple of years ago. It was so easy and satisfying. Y’all really should give that a try.
Has to do with code-from-the-underground riot incitement, I’d guess. Weird, because Twitter has always been all-in on BLM and Antifa riots.

It probably just takes your government minder a while to read and report the messages.
Deleted Twitter on January 20th along with Facebook.

Deleted Twatter long before that. Kinda sad as it was the really only place to get current anti-H1B news (USTechWorkers) and current flight status, airport information and lockdown information in the Philippines (organizations here use it and Facebook for official communications)
Facebook can’t delete as friends, family and contacts really never used any other media to communicate. Something about not having to give a real phone number or email like in SMS, Viber or WhatsApp have advantages. Also a lot cheaper as even VOIP calling costs real money internationally.
It was just in the news sport. Like yesterday. Guess the shooting was in Nashville, but I guarantee its riots related to that.
Maybe it is one of those ‘Mexican Word For the Day’ mimes.
