How would removing emergency and experimental convince you unless there was proven efficacy and safety based on high quality peer reviewed studies?

It really makes more sense to promote FDA approved and long term studied drugs such as Ivermectin and Hydrochloroquine along with D3 and zinc as prophylaxis for high risk populations.

The fact that federal government is not taking the approach of using proven treatments is proof of ill intentions by the Feds. The Feds aren’t even acknowledging any approach other than vaccines; they are actively dissuading the public from considering any approach that doesn’t benefit them or their donors/ backers. This is what Gates and Fauci are all about.

The FDA is an over-cautious, encrusted, hide-bound federal agency of CYA bureaucrats. They have routinely held up treatments authorized throughout the rest of the world for precisely this reason. They will take years to remove the words "experimental" and "emergency" from the vaccines. They would still not have authorized any use of the vaccines if Trump had not pushed them to do so - Biden would certainly not be doing so now.

If you don't want to get the vaccines, don't. It looks like we're nearing herd-immunity levels anyway, due to contagion and vaccination, and there's currently a shortage of vaccines in places like CA. People who don't want the vaccine should not get it.

I didn’t run out to get the first shots either - like you I waited until it seemed a good bet the vaccine was better than getting the disease.

In the 50’s I was a guinea pig for the polio vaccine - I’ve gone full circle. (turned out I was in the polio control group had to get the real vaccine when it came out anyhow - but that’s life.)

How effective is the vaccine in reducing hospitalization or death? In untreated controls, various populations (high v low risk), verses those receiving prophylaxis (Ivermectin, HCQ)
Do the vaccines work for all or most of the Covid strains?
How long does immunity last?
Can the “immunized” still spread the virus?

Trusting blanket statements by government officials and their hand picked experts should not suffice. Hopefully most FReepers have not lost their basic critical reasoning skills.

I live in Florida - everyone - every person - and every store and business - gets to make their own calls on masks.

For the most part everyone wears them in grocery stores and no one wears them at the beach. Most everything else falls between those two extremes. Our schools opened in September, our Governor DeSantis said he's going to get the vaccine when it's his turn (he doesn't consider himse3lf an 'essential worker'... and he's not 60 yet).

So I live in a sane Republican run State... Social distancing is the same... up to individuals, up to stores up to families NOT up to the government.

Why has autism suddenly appeared in the last 30 years to the point where it’s one in 30 or 40 kids now?

Why does the government cede complete blanket immunity to the vaccine industry regardless of whether they kill or permanently harm anybody?

You are much better off finding ways to combat viruses and other pathogens without trusting the government and their needles

Of 93 vaccines in the CDC's VAER database (voluntary reporting of adverse reactions), a specific Polio Vaccine developed in 2004 had more reported deaths. Then Pfizer and Moderna's Covid-19 deaths are next in magnitude, followed by PReVNAR 13, another Pfizer vaccine which was FDA Approved in February 24, 2010.

So about 1 month into release of the Pfizer and Moderna Covid-19 Vaccines, they are #2 and #3 on the list out of 93 Vaccines for reported deaths. The vaccine which was #1 in causing the most deaths had been in use since 2004. The vaccine ranked #4 in causing death had been in use since 2010.

NOte the reminder that reporting a death does not mean the vaccine caused the death. Tracking or reporting deaths or other reactions can eventually lead to analysis which point to problems with the vaccines or rule out the vaccine as the cause. But unfortunately many reports must be made first in order for a pattern to be detected, and then time spent being evaluated. :(

I believe as AmericanThinker has turned the light on the numbers, this database will soon be distorted. They may not be able to remove reported deaths (too conspicuous) but I suspect they may increase reported deaths for other vaccines. WE'll see if I am too cynical for my own good!

I waited for a while - wanted to see if there were any obvious problems... Then got mine a few days ago - my arm still hurts.

Everyone should make their own call when they’re ready or IF they’re ever ready.

Weigh the risks of getting the disease versus getting the shot. I believe in that whole ‘it’s a free country’ thing... get it or not - each person’s call. NOT the government’s call...

I have a gene immunity issue so I’m not about to add to that with something that plays with the immunity system in ways they don’t know.
