Democrats are so used to being protected, they get pretty reckless with their behavior. That makes it easy when one of them needs to be removed. The nursing home scandal was getting too much attention, bad optics for the democrats. Democrats are good at distracting from the crime that made the party look bad, and focus on the personal crime that makes Cuomo look bad. No doubt that Cuomo sees himself as a ladies man, and has a history of coming on to women. It doesn’t matter to democrats, they’ll have a steady stream of women come forward, with legitimate or made up claims, until he’s gone. Then they will congratulate themselves for protecting women, and ignore their parties role in using nursing homes as death camps.
