Official, and by official I mean greatly exaggerated, Coronavirus case counts and death counts are plummeting.
This is an important time. With cases and deaths falling, we could obey as politicians decide to give us tokens of our freedom back to us, but still retain the bulk of the lockdown rules. They are watching us and they only want to give us back the level of freedom back that we demand, and definitely no more. The founding of our nation was based on achieving freedom and liberty but to the modern politician all that matters now is that we get the level of safety (ie mandates and restriction) that the media says that we should be asking for.
For many, if the media or Fauci, says that we should have a national curfew with mandatory masks and social distancing then that is what people clamor for. And politicians will gladly come to their rescue by introducing these restrictions, and more, for your safety.

both the politicians and the media are taking their cues from the medical community; that same medical community that has raised risk avoidance and helicoptering control to an art form...
sorry, but until Tony Fauci nods his assent, the masks and restrictions will stay in place for the bulk of the American populace...
