According to the FBI: …”The FBI’s Washington Field Office has released new information and video regarding the pipe bombs placed in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Washington, D.C., on January 5, 2021, and is seeking additional information from the public. Identifying the person responsible for placing these pipe bombs is a priority for the FBI’s Washington Field Office and our partners at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives; U.S. Capitol Police; and D.C. Metropolitan Police Department.”
Accept the statement at face value and then ask yourself: what is wrong with this picture?
Seeking your help. Comments turned off.
See the problem?
Actually, it’s not a problem… it is just an affirmation of intent. The FBI is in the business of creating, engineering and supporting political narratives. The FBI is a political institution, that’s why the request doesn’t align with the system… they don’t really want the public’s help; because it is pushing and promoting the investigation itself that is the goal.
Once you accept the FBI is a political organization with political interests, expectations and objectives, then everything makes sense.

Frame the MAGA supporters as terrorists!
The FBI always put the image of the FBI above all else.
In the pics, I see people being shoved toward the Capitol...except they are trying to go away from the capitol.
The number that actually went into the building...and the number with a weapon (0).
Not even a full fledged armed riot....akak...breaking and entering.
"Hello,FBI...I saw a woman who appeared to be about 80 doing something like that. She was *very* well dressed and had an entourage with her..."
Friggin’ unbelievable.
They look like the Red Coast on one knee, getting ready to fire their muskets.
Red Coats.
Accept the ones that were led into the building by the police. Sometimes it looked more like a tour of the building than a riot. Craziest thing to watch. If all those people were intent on taking it over and hurting politicians or taking them hostage I think they would have succeeded. I do think there was a few radical Trump supporters that did some damage but most was done by antifa or blm.
Over a month since the capital tour and the FBI is still looking for people who were even remotely in the area at the time. Remember when they harassed Antifa terrorists this much? Neither do I.
How effed up is that? They are kneeling for a group that consistently tried to take the lives of police officers
This thing has "amateur" written all over it and definitely not something somebody with any training would have built. Smells like Antifa/BLM.
In some of the video clips itshows this person as if they are looking at a cell phone. If so, the FIB knows who they are. Probably knew it when it was still just a plan.
No I don’t see a problem with this. A contact number for the FBI is probably one of the easiest numbers in the US to find, both national and local. If a person truly has a legitimate tip the last thing one would want is for that information to go public before the suspect could be questioned or apprehended. Damn near every city LEO agency in the US has a local hotline one can call if you have information about a crime or suspect, many offer rewards if the suspect is apprehended. I’m not even sure an anonymous tip from the internet could even be used in a case without verifying the identity of the witness. I might add that we certainly don’t want a witness to put themselves in danger by being outed on the internet.
Nope no problem at all with shutting down discussion on a public post. They need tips not discussion, just look what happens to threads here when the clowns and jokers hit it. If one does have a legitimate tip just call the FBI.
and democRATs.
Yes! I saw that! So this whole thing is another hoax
Comments are public. If someone were to give specific information to the fbi in a public comment that would be disastrous.
At least in China they are honest about it...they call them political officers.
