If I’m supposed to give a crap about descendants of a guy who just up and decided 1200 years ago “hey, look at me, I’m king of the English,” they probably should have fought a lot harder about 200 years ago.
FWIW, there were so many competing monarchs the first several centuries of what we now refer to as England, there aren’t many remaining of those bloodlines. QEII certainly doesn’t draw any blood relationship to those early monarch. She’s BARELEY related to King Henry VIII. Barely, something like Great Niece x25.
Ultimately, the House of Windsor is just as German as it is anything else, arguably even more German than anything else.
