Last May my $1200 was directly deposited. Never received the $600 so I requested it when I sent in my 2020 taxes - they deducted the taxes I owed them but still getting a refund. Goodness knows when I will get that refund since I read the IRS is behind with over 7 million to be reviewed. I understand that the $1400 deposits can be made until December.
Hubby got a $600 check in the mail, so I thought I’d get one a week later, since our deposits are usually a week apart. I never got it. So I’ll deduct that when I do the taxes this year.
Since we both have our checks direct deposited, I was surprised that he got a check in the mail-thought it would go to the checking account like the regular deposits.
