Texas Gov. Greg Abbott made headlines this week by lifting his state’s mask mandate and declaring Texas “100% open” against advice of federal health agencies.
Pennsylvania should not expect any such declarations any time soon.
“At this time, mask-wearing is abundantly important,” said acting state Secretary of Health Alison Beam. “I want to make sure to emphasize this. While we know we’re making progress and we continue to invest in the vaccine rollout, we have to keep Pennsylvania safe while we progress through this rollout so we don’t have to go back into the mitigation efforts.”
Wearing a mask, she said, is still mandatory, and there is no time frame on lifting any mitigation measures.

Question for PA’s do-nothing legislature: Seen enough yet?
It’s been a year now. Enough edicts, have your legislature go on record and PASS LAWS requiring it.
Two weeks, to flatten the curve so that our hospitals aren’t overrun. And here we are, a year later, with hospitals OK and our “leaders” wearing two masks.

And the CDC just Admitted and Published over the weekend that Masks are Useless!!
If so then the gov’t is mandating another
useless item upon the populace.
Aren’t the majority of masks manufactures in china ?
Masks don’t protect you. They just help reduce the spray from coughs and sneezes.
Worthless as teats on a boar hog.
But it will make dr fakechew feel better, and it will help the sheep to stay in a flock, flocken sheep.

This virus doesn't stop people from earning a living. It is not trying to control us with lockdowns, mandating masks, social distancing, closing businesses and destroying our livelihoods.
The democRATic run states and their tyrannical governors are doing all of that. The Left is trying to instill fear in people and control their lives.
Several FReepers have asked me, in response to my comments that I don't wear a mask by choice, how do I shop in stores and businesses that require them. I reply that I just don't patronize them anymore.
I save the grief and effort by ordering many things online. And my products are delivered, usually with free shipping, right to my front door without the hassle of driving to the big city, dealing with the mask issues and the trouble of finding what I want.
Restaurants around here stopped enforcing their previous mask requirements some time ago. Because people only put them on when they entered, only to remove them to eat. Employees still wear them because they can be fined by the country. But customers can't be fined, so guess what? Nobody wears masks to go out to eat anymore.
Left to their own devices in a free country, people make their own decisions on what risks they are willing to take in their lives.
The cure is simple: Don't wear a mask ... especially outdoors as it would be irrational to do so.

Biden and his handlers will make sure we stay masked until 2025.
The mask mandates are not about a virus, they never were.
