I am guessing that most men already understand the bio-mechanics of menstruation. The average man may simply consider it a ‘yucky’ topic that doesn’t usually require their close attention. Similar to how some women may view a the effects of aging on the average man’s genitalia. Most women don’t know and don’t even want to know.
I was watching an old TV show (Kolchak: The Night Stalker) today on NBC.com, and they repeatedly had breast feeding commercials. Women rubbing cabbage leaves etc. Was kind of shocking.
The only post or thread I ever had pulled was a thread I started where I was giving an eye-witness report from a court proceeding where a Marine’s car was whacked by an attorney in downtown Chicago...just for being a Marine.
Marine was on his way to an overseas war zone deployment.
(Turned out Freepers found out the attorney’s license to practice had expired.)
The attorney hadn’t shown up, the judge issued a warrant for his arrest.
The judge found for the Marine (turns out the Judge and Prosecutor were Marines).
I’m leaving the proceedings and the attorney comes strolling in.
I let the LEO at the entrance checkpoint know the judge just issued a warrant for his arrest.
The next thing I know, the thread got wished into the cornfield...no reason given.
Lemme guess. It was that adage, “I don’t trust a creature that bleeds 12 weeks a year and won’t die.”
My wife has taken to correcting those calling this month “women’s month”. She tells them that they should call it Menstruating Month since by their standards it’s not just women that do it.
