I am talking about a period of time long before South Carolina, as a state, had its own government. Bear in mind that Georgia was part of the Province of Carolina up until 1732. There is a preponderance of evidence online about the connection between Charleston and Barbados. Simply search these three words together, “South Carolina Barbados”.
