:: Don’t like it? Take your business elsewhere. ::
You make my point.
If you have no “masks mandates” in your locale, why do you continue to shop stores that require you wear them for service?
You see, once there is no longer a health department requirement (like shoes and shirts), denying service becomes a policy of discrimination.
Because you prefer to be discriminated against as a trade-off for their wares?
Heil Wal-Mart, then.
I don't often eat at places that require me to wear a suit and tie, but everyone once in a while, the wife really wants a night of fancy treatment. I don't protest outside the fancy restaurant demanding entry in jeans and a t-shirt and I don't lobby Congress or my state legislature to force them to let me in with jeans and a t-shirt. I put on my suit and tie and we have a lovely evening.
We all make our own decisions about whether we want to interact with certain businesses. I think Facebook is a terrible company that invades privacy, sell users' data, lobbies for things I find abhorrent, and is run by liberal lunatics. So I don't have a Facebook account. There are things I don't like about Walmart, but sometimes my need for a specific item outweighs my dislike for the store. As a free American adult, I can make those choices for myself. I think that's a positive thing.
I think we should all make the choice to buy American. I think that would help improve our country. But I don't want to see government stepping in forcing you or me or anyone else to buy American. I always favor choice, even when people or businesses use that freedom to make choices I dislike.
