A new report from The Intercept presents strong evidence that Mitch McConnell is preparing to leave office before his Senate term expires. Coincidentally or not, this report closely follows release of a report by the Department of Transportation’s Inspector General stating that McConnel’s wife, Elaine Chao, used her office staff to promote her wealthy family’s shipping interests, and could face federal prosecution.

Another fabulously wealthy politician who earned tens of millions off his $300,000/year job.

Senators, governors, secretary of states, they are being removed.
Anyone involved in the steal already got their suitcase filled with cash.
Now they pay the political price.

This is what happens to useful idiots.
Just like the mob, no witnesses left behind

Did Xi convince him to move on over to his brand new pricey digs in China as reward for his faithful service to the regime?

Well if it is in the American Thinker it must be true...

Then again, the writing was seemingly on the wall about this. Matt Bevin, however, putting his foot in his mouth one too many times during the governor’s race 2 years ago threw a monkey wrench in the works. The legislature now passing a bill to make it a requirement that the governor appoint a replacement Senator from the same party would seem to have McConnell’s fingerprints all over it...otherwise why did they suddenly get the idea to pass this kind of a bill now?

Also would serve as a form of life insurance if his untimely demise didn’t give the Dems the opportunity to name his successor.

They aren’t McConnells judges. He didn’t pick them. That’s the president’s job. Sounds like what you’re really saying is that you’re not impressed with Trumps judges.

Sounds hopeful, but Kentucky’s governor is a democrat and he gets to appoint the new senator.

Chances of a republican filling Mitch’s shoes are pretty slim.

Mitch is giving the democrats full control if that happens. So much for a two party system in the Federal realm.

Yes, they are Trump’s judges but if McConnell is going to take credit for shepherding them through the nomination process, then he deserves some of the blame. McConnell played the lead role in the advice and consent of the senate.

Old senators in red states that are up in ‘22. They should quit now and let trump pick their appointed successors. Think Shelby, Grassley, Idaho. Blunt +Boozman only if there’s a good up and comer. McConnell should be replaced by Atty. Gen. Cameron once the Ky. legislature fixes the appointment process. Like Idaho the sitting party should pic 3 candidates and the rat gov. chooses one of the 3.

As if it makes a difference? Big Gov elitist dem appointed by a dem, or big gov elitist RINO appointed by a republican. Same sh*t, different bread.

It’s odd. The Democrats will usually attack a Republican over the least little thing. Yet none of them seem concerned about McConnell’s ties to Red China.

The Deep State (D and R) protects its own. So I guess it’s not so odd after all.
