Great point. The nuance is they are admitting that to make good slaves, which is making man not taboo, you have to start dumbing them down early against the taboo wholesale rape and murder of fellow human beings because of their color of skin.

Here are some real life observations about “faces” (and I’m not talking about the old movie).
The main reason (besides APBs/BOLOs) that police will be a little more curious about dealing with black people at night, esp. if they are in cars that are not lighted on the inside, IS THAT IN MANY CASES, THEY CANNOT SEE THE EYES AND FACIAL EXPRESSIONS OF THOSE INSIDE AND THIS KICKS IN AN OLD ANTHROPOLOGICAL SURVIVAL RESPONSE. If you can’t see a person’s face, esp. one that is dark, then you can’t determine what they are thinking or planning re a response.
Any cop on the beat knows this situation and how one mistake can get them killed if they MISREAD a person’s looks (and body motions).
Why do you think American Indians used the open hand greeting to strangers, be they other Indians, Whites, Mexicans, etc? Because an “empty hand” was a sign of a

When I was a journalist in Cambodia during the war, I met and interviewed Cambodian refugees from communist captivity (NVA/VC). I never saw such skin/facial diversity among a supposedly genetically uniform people. Some were light-faced, medium-dark, and one man was not only WALNUT dark but looked like one of the old Italian “Punch and Judy” puppets. You could not pick up his “intent” by his facial expressions because you couldn’t see them.
In DC, the police used to ask for descriptions of black suspects (from eyewitnesses, people who knew the suspect, and other officers) as to “how black” were they. Often the answer came back “Fulwood Black”. POC Fulwood was a very dark police officer and if a suspect had that degree of blackness to them, the officers knew who better to look for/at and to be on guard because they might not be able to determine their intentions if cornered or captured.
You’d be amazed what real life experiences and common sense can teach you, about survival, life and nature.
