Richard Barnett, the Arkansas man charged with breaking into Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office and stealing her mail during the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol, threw a tantrum during a virtual court hearing on Thursday, yelling at the judge and his own lawyers that it wasn’t “fair” that he was still in jail weeks after his arrest.
One of the most recognizable figures from the Capitol assault, Mr. Barnett, 60, was photographed on Jan. 6 with his feet up on a desk in Ms. Pelosi’s office and a cattle-prod-like stun gun dangling from his belt.
From the moment he was taken into custody, he has waged an ongoing — and so far unsuccessful — effort to be freed on bond, and he loudly lost his patience with the process at an otherwise routine hearing in front of Judge Christopher Cooper of Federal District Court in Washington.
Appearing by video from jail, Mr. Barnett erupted into anger after Judge Cooper set the next court date in his case for a day in May, shouting that he did not want to remain behind bars for “another month.”
“They’re dragging this out!” he hollered. “They’re letting everybody else out!”

But he trespassed against the Powers What Is and showed them disrespect. To the petty-minded, self-important cretins that make up the Democrat party, that must be punished.
He is lucky it ain’t for life, or given the disposition of the Left, he’s lucky he wasn’t disappeared to a re-education camp in Siberia.
That’s different.
We nobodies that, in NYC lack even the right to self defense.
Nancy Pelosi is one of THEM. She is IMPORTANT. The sanctity of her desk is more important than you or me.

The people they're arresting all seem to have been at the Capitol.
Arresting them over the Capitol because it was mostly Trump supporters and some people that just went to start trouble.
Being Trump supporters is probably icing on the cake for those doing the arresting, but they're not going to let trashing the Capitol go unpunished. They're going to set examples.
BLM rioters have the foresight not to riot at the Capitol and threaten members of Congress.

I would not have dreamed of entering the Capitol on Jan 6th. It was always going to be a trap. The enemy ran an almost flawless psyop which we were not prepared for.

Bull. The Left has thrown tantrums in the Capitol interrupting proceedings in Congress and even assaulted the Supreme Court after Kavanaugh was confirmed. Some were even invited to do so by Democrats.
No one I can recollect ever went to jail, let alone two months. This is a political show trial, nothing else.
Demonstrations outside is one thing. Trashing the building is another. Why should they be surprised when Congress and the courts throw the book at them.
Antifa has been smart enough not to pull their stunt on the House floor or Pelosi's office.
