I read Isaiah about a year ago.. really didn’t understand it. So I found this British Baptist preacher that I really liked. He has some great books. One was called “Walk Through Isaiah with Me.” Great.. I felt scholarly lol.
Then I read his book on Zechariah, I’m reading one on Angels, which is really good, more on Christianity than angels.. so good.
The next book I read on Zechariah was by FB Meyer who lived from 1847- 1929. His writing style is from that period and I must admit I have a hard time understanding him.
I was googling the Brit Baptist pastor, David Pawson, to see what he’d say about the virus and lockdowns.. HE DIED LAST MAY. I was very sad to say the least.
Since you are on Zechariah, compare Zech chapter 14 with Acts chapter 1:1-12 Focus on the fact that both books in those sections focus on a single place. The Mount of Olives. Fascinating stuff.
