During an Arctic Warrior exercise, I landed in a 747 on a Norwegian airstrip that looked exactly like that. It wasn’t on a glacier, just an airport that they don’t bother to plow because they simply couldn’t keep up. We were wheels-up South Carolina, so I’m presuming they weren’t snow tires (if that’s even a thing in aviation).
