As someone who was a physics major at U of Chicago, I LOVE that it's about the relationship between a physics student and an advertising student. While brilliant, the physics student is clueless about how to court the girl, even though he's starting from the advantage that both of their parents have made them live together in the unused apartment of one of the families. The advice he gets from his physics professor is priceless. At one point, the boy writes a love letter to the girl comparing her to Schroedinger's cat. Since I dropped out of physics when I hit the class on Schroedinger's equations in my last year, I sympathize completely with the girl. He decides that she'll probably understand a math love letter better so asks her to solve an equation that would result in the graph of a heart. Needless to say, he needs better approaches.
