Ah-hah, you may be of age to notice a brandname that has pretty much gone missing in our lifetimes, at least here in the US & Canada! If you can fill-in this blank, you too may be a bit long in the tooth; "You'll wonder where the yellow went when you brush your teeth with ______" Free market, capitalism and private enterprise does not just introduce products or ideas, for proper functioning, a non-seller must lose shelf space!
Some call it creative destruction but it is why you do not see Pepsodent toothpaste and why you can no longer shop in Fry's Electronics or Radio Shack, and so on! If there is no socialist state manufacturer, the shelf space or store front is not there either!
“You’ll wonder where the yellow went...”

Couple of FRiends recently posted some fun training videos about grocery stores in the mid 60s. Not only is it amazing how many brands come and go, there are also many with remarkable longevity. Foods instantly recognizable are Wonder Bread, Campbells Soup, Wheaties, and many others. Land O’Lakes butter was instantly recognizable but with a big (and awful) wokester change, of course.
