I’ve been saying that since day one. People have been going out grocery shopping since the beginning of This last February/March not wearing masks crowded around the toilet paper, not social distancing, etc. I’m supposed to believe that no one last March when 1000 people crammed into the local grocery store, not one of them had COVID?
I can’t prove it, but I’m willing to bet at least 50 to 75% of the country has been exposed to Covid in someway shape or form. When we had the spikes last year, that was likely the majority of the population getting exposed and the people with health conditions actually getting sick enough to be hospitalized or unfortunately dying. The lower case is we see now are likely the ones who have been hiding inside most the time finally creeping out into the world.
So maybe 100 million have already been infected and have some immunity. With the vaccines to date, I'd say we're on the brink of herd immunity.
The bad part is that many who have actually achieved natural immunity will be getting the vaccine. And that...I consider fooling with mother nature.
