Where does the conspiracy theory come from?
The belief that Trump will be sworn in on March 4 is rooted in theories promoted by the obscure sovereign citizen movement.
The sovereign citizen movement is a highly-fragmented grouping of Americans who believe taxes, US currency, and even the US government to be illegitimate.
A minority of them believe that laws do not apply to them at all, resulting in the FBI designating some members as "domestic terrorists" and "anti-government extremists."
A central tenet of the movement is that the 14th Amendment, ratified in 1868, converted "sovereign citizens" into "federal citizens."
This belief also goes so far as to dismiss the validity of any presidency after 1868, making Ulysses S. Grant the last valid president.
...
Why March 4?
Before the 20th Amendment in 1933, all presidents were sworn in on March 4.
It was introduced to shorten the "lame duck" period between elections and the start of new administrations.
Given that followers of the sovereign citizen movement reject all constitutional amendments passed after the 14th amendment, they do not view this date change as legitimate.
QAnon followers, who failed to see Trump inaugurated in January, have recycled the argument and reinvented the next legitimate inauguration date.
They say that on March 4, 2021, Trump will succeed the last legitimate president, Grant, to become the 19th president

I have read it.
I did not believe everything I read, so my questions are as yet unanswered.
Of course, if I accepted it all on faith, then I would feel that my questions were answered.
But I don’t accept it on faith. I want a rational discussion, and that has not been forthcoming.
In my experience, Q followers seem to be offended by the fact that I question their doctrines - that I don’t accept them on faith.
Ending this once and for all.
LS, you’re the biggest Trump insider on the whole entire forum you can get direct access to the Donald easily at any point if you want too with that said, has any of the Trump people including fellow insiders also insiders of his inner circle told you specifically about a March 4th presidential inauguration of Trump reclaiming the entire Presidency from Joe erm Biteme?
peach "nye tee" peach "nye tee"
just doesn't have the same ring as

“ But, deserved or not, it is undeniable that the Q phenomenon has gained a reputation for attracting nut job conspiracy theorists, ”
I’ve yet to meet one.
“ Q has become a perfect tool for the Left to paint all Trump supporters as kooks.
I’m not likely to take the left seriously.
They paint every conservative as racist, sexist, homophobic, violent.
Nothing new there. This is one more episode.
Actually they're just making fun of the stupidity of it.
So it’s okay to criticize Qanonsense on these kinds of threads?
They’re turning into jerks. On inauguration day the opened a q thread. For those of us who’ve been ignoring q for years, it seemed like the day to note that it’s time to drop the bullshiite.
But it turns out they have some special caucus protection status on FR. I ended up getting a timeout as a result.
“I’ve yet to meet one.”
I know.
I’m not saying Q followers are nut job conspiracy theorists.
I’m just saying Q has gained the REPUTATION of attracting conspiracy theorists.
I said Q followers are good people. I said they are genuine supporters of President Trump. I said they want what is best for the Republic.
But Q’s reputation is a reality - whether deserved or not - and that makes Q useful to the enemies of President Trump.
You think QAnon helped Trump? Please give any example of where A) QAnon was correct, and B) it helped Trump.
I agree......Q never mentioned March 4th.........but that doesn’t stop Anons from mentioning it and waiting for that day to arrive.
When I first heard of March 4th as The day, I think it was literally Jan. 21st.
I believe for some Q followers it will be a disappointment when the 4th comes and goes uneventfully.......for others, perhaps it’ll be a relief. They can now move on with life, real life again.
Ahh, but the REAL date is the new-new-new-revised-new date. That’s the ticket. All part of the plan.
Says who?
“Debate me...”
Where? On one of your precious snowflake Qanon threads?
If we start a counter-Qanon thread the mods will lock it.
Again......Bless your heart.....😉
Keep trying. 👍🤣
Trust the plan.
I do. It energized his base and expanded it to patriots from other parties.
They say that about Trump too.
He attracts white nationalists, racists, bigots, homophobes, transphobes, etc.
In general, anything the left accuses us of is exactly true of themselves and not us.
My niece is a public defender. Every once in a while she gets assigned a sovereign citizen.
She says the first conversation goes for about ten minutes. It gets her nowhere.
Then the court appearance consists of her explain to the judge that citizen John Doe is a nation unto himself. The she sits down, takes out a nail file, touches up her manicure, and listens as the judge eviscerates John.
The second meeting is closer to what everyone else gets the first time.
Qanon Nutjobs Run! 🤪
