I've only seen it once, but he was the Old Timer, wearing heavy fur, that they would flash back to, in the bar room. He got killed in the end. Very short scene. Also, he had a whole minute in Django. Ha! Fun guy to work with and I have lots of "Lee" stories.
He is a great guy. This video cracks me up. https://youtu.be/0oFGBo82Uv8
He’s got some great stories from the old days of Hollywood.
He did a terrific interpretation of Gatsby in 2013. Pity that the rest of the film fell short of properly doing justice to the novel.
What movie is that?
I just finished viewing Django Unchained on Netflix. It was brilliant, too, especially the scene where the hooded vigilantes start fighting amongst themselves about the eye holes in their hoods. Hilariously funny at the same time that it was horrifically violent.
Quentin Tarantino is a unique animal. Fantastic director with great artistic vision, he gives in to his inner liberal and white self-loathing too often - thus removing himself from the halls where Ford, Capri, Peckinpah and DeMille reside as the true greats of all time. Just a tad more self-discipline could get him there.
But he's still young and the jury's not out yet. I'd like to see "Where on my starship did you see a sign saying dead Klingon storage?"
He did a great job of freezing to death in Titanic. I could almost believe he was dead, until he went and made another movie. Damn!
“Dead Klingon Storage” cracked me up almost as much as the original line.
