Talk show host Bill Maher said he wishes there was more optimism going around now that COVID-19 is on the decline and vaccinations are rolling out.
Maher, who hosts the HBO show Real Time with Bill Maher, targeted Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, saying he is “always a downer.”
“Can we be a little happy?” Maher said on his show. “Can we be a little happy about where we are COVID-wise as opposed to ... it’s just like they really don't want you. I think it's counterproductive. I really do. The constant gloom and doom, and it's always a new strain from Satan that’s coming. We’re coming off one year of s---.”
“‘Masks forever.’ I don't want to wear masks forever,” he said. “That’s not healthy either, by the way, wearing a mask. I guess we have to do it, but breathing your stale air? Not healthy, not healthy. Yeah, I don't want to wear a mask forever.”
He instead praised Dr. Marty Makary of Johns Hopkins University, a Fox News contributor, who has predicted that COVID-19 will be “mostly gone” by April

If “downer” = “liar”, then yes, Maher is correct.
If someone would pop the pimple on Fauzi’s shoulder, he wouldn’t have to worry about a mask any longer.

If you have ever found a happy fascist, please name him or her.
If they say "coronavirus will be gone by April," they can claim credit for everything, and they will try to, BUT:
1) they will have to admit that the vaccine developed during the Trump administration "worked"
2) they won't be able to exercise so much control over the people
3) their own hypocrisy and lies will be exposed
