Conservatives have the tools for a peaceful revolution
American Thinker ^ | 27 Feb, 2021 | Matt Rowe

Democrats dragged America left by working inside the system. Conservatives must start peacefully working the system to drag it back where it belongs.

Half of America blindly supports the gradual and increasingly obvious move toward socialism. Their leaders either want communism or don’t care much about the future provided they gain power while they are still around to enjoy it. The other half of America shouts from the treetops that communism is coming and that it’s time to do something about it – but that’s all. To prevail in this ideological battle, they need to do much more.

The left is well-funded, organized, takes care of its own, and gets global support. The right needs funding, lacks organization, is only just learning to take care of its own, and gets nothing from overseas except condemnation and derision.

When will Conservatives have had enough of this to do something, rather than complain about this steady move toward tyranny?

Untrustworthy elections certainly weren’t enough. Most on the right question the federal election process, yet say only, “…we’ll get ‘em in 2022.” This despite the fact that there’s been no investigation into the 2020 election, and leftists mock and bully us into accepting it on their say-so. That’s confidence, and they’ll be even more confident in 2022.

I hope the conservative politicians wake up.

We may want to peacefully drag it back to sanity, but the left isn’t about to let that happen.

It's a little late for that (as usual, conservatives are a day late and a dollar short).

There has been a slow motion communist coup in America, punctuated most recently by the theft of the presidency by the Democratic Socialists.

Did the Kennedy Assassination mark the beginning of a sixth year script ? Would make one heck of a movie ..... completely unbelievable

Very nice.

I was confident, and absolutely convinced that the fraudulent election would be fully exposed and rectified, and that the guilty would be indicted, tried, convicted, and incarcerated for their OBVIOUS crimes.

None of that happened. None of it.

My confidence in the future went PFFFFFFFFFFFFFT.

We’re headed full speed towards a socialist state, led by a mentally defective poser controlled by very powerful, wealthy forces. He is the marionette, and our foreign and domestic enemies pull the strings.

The elected officials we believed would overturn our bogus election used a quote from “Animal House:”

“Hey, you effed up. You trusted us.”

Yeah, but we got Trump ....and they dont.

All the lefties have is an Halfrican (and his grabby wife) with his hands in the federal till, and an incompetent, half-gone Biden.

Global support for the latter is an illusion.

I was never confident in that at all, so much as said so here on this forum, and was chided for simply stating I knew no one would be held accountable.

I’m just glad I saw this coming years ago and did the best I could to prepare accordingly then. Admittedly, it is happening at a much faster pace than I anticipated.

Actually, I believe American support for the biggest handout of all, Social Security, tops 90%. Kind of not possible to elect a government that will lay a finger on that program.

"Democrats dragged America left by working inside the system."

I stopped reading right there...the very first line.

Until the GOP/Right admits the 2020 election was STOLEN by the Democrats (that would be "working OUTSIDE OF THE SYSTEM"), they'll remain lower-level pawns to be used and abused by the Left. If the GOP does not acknowledge that, this Republic is finished.

Something about January 6th has troubled me more and more each time I hear the Left mention it...every time I hear them say the word "insurrection" and "armed insurrection" (to add force to their false appraisal...every time I hear that it "needs to be investigated, people need to be jailed"...

Maybe January 6th wasn't an armed insurrection (wrong on both counts), but was our last chance.

Maybe the folks that day weren't committing a crime, but breathing the last gasp of freedom.

Maybe they weren't traitors looking to topple a government, but heroes trying to prevent one.

And maybe we weren't patriots listening to our president speak, but cowards sitting on the sidelines.

Some said there were 100-200 thousand there that day. Some say, "No, it was more." Given what was going on, given the stakes, given what we knew and know about the Left, why weren't there 75 million of us there?

Will I be wondering that one day (soon?) when I am dismissed from my job...or when I hear the knock on the door in the middle of the night...or when the crowd at the local supermarket senses, body-snatchers-like, that I am not of them...or when I am lined up at the train station?

I was there. It's difficult to count a crowd when you're in it. I never did hear an attendance figure, and would never believe anything the MSM estimates.

I didn't go near the Capitol. My frozen feet were having none of it. I watched the festivities from my hotel room. I knew, instinctively, that the implanted anarchists were responsible for breaking and entering and the resultant mayhem.

But it was a big, noisy, friendly bunch of people around the Washington Monument.

Kind of like a dress rehearsal, perhaps.

"U.S. Constitution - Article 5 Article 5 - Amendment <> The Congress, whenever two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose Amendments to this Constitution, or, on the Application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several States, shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments, which, in either Case, shall be valid to all Intents and Purposes, as part of this Constitution, when ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths of the several States, or by Conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other Mode of Ratification may be proposed by the Congress; Provided that no Amendment which may be made prior to the Year One thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any Manner affect the first and fourth Clauses in the Ninth Section of the first Article; and that no State, without its Consent, shall be deprived of its equal Suffrage in the Senate." Seems pretty straightforward.

The election was stolen in a fully bipartisan manner. Nothing will change until GOP voters stop lying to themselves and admit to the GOP role in the 4 year long coup and stolen election.

We’ve already tried “peaceful” revolution. Several times. How’s that working for us?

“We’ve already tried “peaceful” revolution.”

No. No, we have not tried peaceful changes.

For example, so-called conservatives have allowed the left to take over public schools without a fight. They sat on their fat asses and refused to attend schoolboard meetings and make their demands known.

There’s a schoolboard in every county in America. 100 conservatives should show up at every meeting to throw out leftist teachers and administrators and set the teaching agenda for public schools.

It’s pretty obvious that so-called conservatives are more interested in remodeling their kitchens and worshiping Mammon than fixing what is fixable right in their backyards.
