This is brilliant.
I’ve known two young students from Africa who came to the US for their educations, and were dedicated to going back and helping their people.
One was concerned about Onchocerciasis (’river blindness’) in his country; the other was interested in Public Health, and very concerned about the horrible fistulae issues in women which result from what is often politely called’female circumcision’ but what I call Female Genital Mutilation.
If we overrun our own country with immigrants who will only cost us money, our resources for really good education - and the truly good work we can do for the vast majority of impoverished people in the world - will be vastly diminished.
Much better if we exported our educational, and manufacturing,etc. resources to those countries.
It is kinda backwards now. How many of the immigrants go back to their countries to enrich themselves at the expense of their own peoples instead of helping them?
