Trump HAS To run For a House Seat

Posted on 02/25/2021 7:52:59 AM PST by DIRTYSECRET

The Mara a Lago district is too blue for him but you know as well as I that he'll get all the attention during the election season. If he loses he'll still be eligible to be Speaker. Contract time again. As speaker he can crack the whip, not on the democrats but the rinos. Then he can walk over to the senate and do the same thing-encroachment. Entertainment.

And if we held the House...

You would need a GOP majority >20 to prevent a Republican House from refusing to seat Trump.

These days the Speaker of the house has almost kingly power and with a Majority in the House and Senate—he would have more power than President Harris/Biden. Trump could use this pulpit to get his message out and run for President in 2024—if he wins (he would) he can resign and give his seat in the House to another Florida supporter. He could do to Biden-Harris what Nancy did to him. It would be an ideal spot for the Ultimate Deal Maker to Bring Back America.

John Quincy Adams did it.

All that does is set him as patient zero of the perennial-forever-Washington-never-go-away politician...

John Quincy Adams, who won the house of representatives was instrumental in stopping the slave trade and strengthening the abolitionist movement. He did more in the house than he was able to get done as president.

Nobody who has ever been President would ever accept a demotion in life to a lowly House seat.

Ever hear of President John Quincy Adams?

He was also a house member from 1825-29, after he was President.

Did not JQ Adams serve in the house after being president??

John Quincy Adams did serve in the House, fought against slavery and died in the House. I don’t think he his service there as somehow demeaning.

BTW-This is not Babylon Bee.

You are right on that one. At least the Babylon Bee is very smart and funny. Your post is neither of that, not to mention totally ridiculous.

Trump is elected to the House. Becomes Speaker of the House. Impeaches Biden and Harris. Senate removes them for high crimes. Trump becomes President. (A guy can dream, can’t he?)

In an ideal world the GOP would have 67+ senators and roll the democrat POTUS. if it was just Hillary. Perhaps they could do it to Harris with only a majority. How many Democrats are scared of her as POTUS?

Trump is not Pelosi. He has never shown himself to be a fan of an empty gesture. I don't see that changing.
