If a “true believer” type of terrorist got their hands on some high mortality strain of a disease...
Get a couple dozen believers to contaminate themselves, and go from city to city around the world...
A high mortality disease would kill off people before it gets time to spread.
Maybe I shouldn’t have posted the article. I think it was hyperbolic in its claims about the future impact of bio weapons on humanity. Conventional weapons can cause more damage and bio weapons lead to the rest of the planet hanging up in you (eg Saddam Hussein). I also think humanity is strong enough to fight any viral weapon as our immune systems are so varied because our genetics are so varied.
