The analogy is okay as analogies go, but why settle for the old "Whoever controls the media" as our persecutor? In this day and age, we should have their names, addresses, and favorite breakfast foods readily known. The "Why?" always seemed so evident to me: if we're fighting each other, the elites get a pass because we're so busy making hatred a local thing we don't ever seem to dish out a portion to them.
