It’s a great article that we should be sharing with others. A lot of people who believed the media propaganda narrative about murderous Trump supporters will be more likely to believe an explanation of why that’s false from a lefty journalist.

What the “press” did with their coverage of what happened at the Capitol alone should completely discredit them. Unfortunately, the people who still believe that the propagandists report news will mostly never hear the real, official story. The fake political propaganda gets declared loudly, while the corrections and “updates” only get a brief, almost irrelevant mention.

What happened interest in Ashli Babbitt? The government has been strangely silent about her fate. What about her husband? Has he been interviewed by any legitimate journalist? For that matter, has he been interviewed at all? And who was the shooter? Shouldn't he face a wrongful death lawsuit?

No autopsy results, apparently no funeral, no detailed interview with her husband, no info on the investigation into the unnamed (why?) Capitol Police officer (if he really was one) who shot her. I still do not believe the theory that her death was faked, but where are the facts disproving that?

One possible explanation: Her husband may have done his best to shut down the story, and the press respected his requests. That's just a guess, and why should guessing be necessary?

Shame we don't have a news media to investigate this sort of stuff. They're too busy celebrating the (probable) death of a (probable) Trump supporter.
