Toooo bad. But I never went to movies anyway, just two the year before the shutdown-—movies are such junk now. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was a hoot, and JoJo Rabbit was funny and touching. Both got Oscars for something. But even Oscars are idiotic...some Korean “comedy” beat out the two I mentioned that year.
Jojo Rabbit was interesting. It had some great filmmaking, but I may disagree with most people about the film. I thought the relationship between the boy and the young lady was amazing. Most of the last 30 to 40 minutes were great. The fall of Berlin.
I did not think the gimmick of the boy's imaginary friend worked all so well. If I was talking to the director, I would have taken all that out and focused on what I thought was the heart of the movie.
