China will continue to raise the level of provocation with Taiwan to embarrass the west, but I think, will play the long game and ultimately try to take Taiwan economically and via fifth column activities, just as they are doing with our businesses, media and academia. Barring a resurgent POTUS Trump in 2024 (and that is entirely contingent on the ability to control vote fraud), China has no real opposition from the west in the foreseeable future.

I think the more significant threat China poses will be in their economic colonization of Africa and plundering of natural resources. No shots will be fired in opposition to the Chinese, only by the Chinese to tighten their stranglehold if need be.

If they truly believed they could take on Taiwan, they would have done it. Remeber, Japan was a small country that kicked China ass. I think Taiwan has some serious surprises for China, and China won’t be using nukes without the rest of the world tearing into them, with or without Biden.
