You're 100% correct it is and it appears to be happening EVERYWHERE. The large multi-national bank I work for won't promote white men at this point, they're hell bent on "diversity" profits be damn'ed at this point. I'm so glad I only have two years and six months left to work before I retire. I'm just counting the days at this point.
I'm having similar thoughts. Jan 1st, 2023 is the date that social security reaches max for me. I'll have 30 years with my company in Dec 2021. Hoping the world doesn't crater just in time to destroy any possibility of retirement.
