"I liked the scene from one of the movies when he was disguised as a pirate with an inflatable parrot on his shoulder."

(When he overinflates it and it flies off): "Thar she blows!"

I always did enjoy the running Cato subplot.

The fights with Kato were epic.

A great comedic genius. The Bobo and The Party are good ones.

There there's the scene with the lovely Fran Jeffries.

The Party is a classic Sellers movie.

The bits with Francois with Dreyfus and the lighter / pistol mixups were funny too.

One of my favorite scenes of course.
Enjoyed the original but thought the sequels were too silly.

Kubrick also wanted Sellers to play the part of “Major TJ King Kong.” Sellers thought it such a bad idea that he came on the set wearing a fake leg cast. They had to cast Slim Pickens in the role, a good decision.

People gave Pickens allot of flack for being too much a cowboy. Only thing was he was a real life cowboy before Hollywood.

Every B-52 crew member is required ( unofficailly ) to have their own copy of “Doctor Strangelove.”

The scene where he causes Dreyfus to suffer a relapse at the mental hospital is another favorite - as is the dentist/nitrous oxide scene (a true bit of Blake Edwards genius).

I’ve also wondered whether the “Ainsley Jarvis” drag club scene served as the inspiration for Edwards’ later “Victor/Victoria”.

We saw this in a drive-in movie theater with our four kids back when it first came out. We lauged and laughed and laughed! The pre-punch-line question. “Does your dog-gee bahy-tuh?” became a family one-to-another secret signal whenever we encountered an irrational comment voiced by an outsider. 50 years later, it still causes hilarity amongst us.

Sorry... I have a sense of humor, but I don’t find “stupid” amusing. will farrell, ben stiller, steve martin, peter sellers... When you’ve had to deal with “stupid” on a regular basis, it is no longer humorous, just annoying and irritating.

People: You’ve left out the melting fake wax nose scene in the castle, Clouseau’s attempts to pole-vault across the moat, and the assassination scenes in and around the nightclub with the huge assassin with deadly boobs.

Oh, and don’t forget, the gorilla-suited police and characters in the car chase/round-about scene in “The Pink Panther”.

Sellers was priceless. He was the movie version of “Benny Hill”, the British comedian and master of disguises

KATO!!!!!!.

I got all 3 not long ago on dvd.

Probably my favorite scene is the beginning of the 1st one, he comes home witb a sack of groceries, looking for Kato, who is hiding in the fridge. The obviously fake fight is great.

Then there’s not my dog, moat swims, tripping on everything in sight and trying to look nonchalant, failing and obvious disguises...the fights with Kato were great. So fake it’s obvious, and you have to wonder how much he would spend a year fixing all the broken tables, lamps, wall repairs etc.

They sure were, and the time Cato hid in the fridge and Cluseau had no idea...awesome.

Kato likely spent a lot of time at Balls to purchase greatly-reduced price furnishings and, of course, the Hunchback Diguise Kit.

“Wait until you see the full effect with the hemp!”

And the Claude Duvalle call from the crazed Dreyfus...
