Buffalo Trace is excellent and reasonably priced when you can find it.

Agree on Buffalo Trace. That distiller’s Eagle Rare brand is really good at a decent price. Also like Basil Hayden.

Interesting thing about Buffalo Trace (BT): When I was trying to track some down in 2018 in Ocala, FL, I came across a Walgreen's liquor store that not only had a number of fifths, but also had 3 of the 1.75 liter bottles of BT! And the clerk told me they get it all the time - they never run out.

This, at a time when even the big liquor stores couldn't get more than two or three bottles per store per month.

I found out about BT watching Justified. A guy went into the bar owned by Boyd and asked for Buffalo Trace. I had to look it up!

Bingo !

Buffalo Trace, Blantons and Pappy Van Winkle , always on the shelf ..... no water or even ice ..... I’m a bourbon snob. Invest more than ingest.
