She’s not barking these days. She has MA. Had to give up singing altogether. That’s a real shame. A finer voice cannot be found.
Politics aside, I always loved her music & her singing voice. She’s 75 now, singing voice troubles started in 2000, with 2009 being her last onstage performance. She’s got progressive supranuclear palsy, similar to Parkinson’s. She can still walk, though gingerly, but her hands tremble, and even sitting upright becomes painful after a while. Nowadays, she can only sing in her head.
