Great stuff! But being from the Gay State (Massachusetts) my favorite update was “My Boy Lollipop”...Barney Frank! I also enjoyed “In A Yugo” and the animal rights update “Born Free”.

A couple years ago, I was walking through a store and Rush
s Homeless Update theme song, “Ain’t got no Home” by Clarence Frogman Henry came wafting over the loudspeaker.

There I was, a bald, old white guy singing and bopping along to the Frogman

One of the best parts about Rush was the humor. Before him, “conservatives” had been stodgy, pedantic bores blathering away on talk shows no one watched.

Rush brought in rock ‘n roll, parodies, laughter and good times to get his message across - and it worked and worked well.

I felt as if I’ve lost a family member.

IF you had bothered to watch and listen to the video clip I provided, you would have seen a Rush 20 years ago, snapping answers and retorts as straight faced as ANY man with half his brain tied behind his back ...

Probably the most foul mouthed one if that’s the kind of thing you enjoy. Do you need to be reminded that this is supposed to a “kinder and gentler” FR this year. We each can contribute our opinions without being chastised...”bothered to watch and listen” - really?

I started listening to Rush when he was still in Sacramento so I dare say I didn’t miss his talents.
